2025（令和7）年7月7日、「川の日」に合わせ、白山ユネスコエコパーク内の白山市白峰地区を流れる手取川で「水辺で乾杯2025 in白山・手取川」が開催されました。
およそ70名の参加者が集い、白山手取川ジオパークの世界認定2周年を祝い、雄大な手取川を前に一斉に乾杯しました。
学生サークル「しらみね大学村」が地区の方々と協力し、企画・運営にあたったことで、地域と水辺のつながりを深める素晴らしいイベントとなりました。
当日は、水をイメージした青い服を身につけた参加者の皆さんが続々と集合しました。
手取川の清らかな流れを前に、ビールや日本酒、ジュースなどを手に一斉に乾杯！
参加者の皆さんの笑顔と川のせせらぎが一体となり、水辺の恵みを分かち合う和やかな時間が流れました。
「水辺で乾杯」プロジェクトとは
この「水辺で乾杯」は、国土交通省などが推進する「ミズベリング・プロジェクト」の一環として、2015年に始まりました。
水辺の新たな活用や保全意識の向上を目的に、毎年7月7日の午後7時7分に全国各地で一斉に乾杯を行うイベントです。
“Waterside Toast 2025 in Hakusan &Tedori River” was held (Supporting Project)
On July 7, 2025, the “Waterside Toast 2025 in Hakusan & Tedori River” was held on “River Day” by the Tedori River running through the Shiramine district in Hakusan City, inside the Mount Hakusan Biosphere Reserve.
About 70 participants gathered to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Hakusan Tedorigawa UNESCO Global Geopark’s designation and toasted together in front of the magnificent Tedori River.
The university student club “Shiramine Daigaku-mura” worked with the local community to plan and organize the event, which was a wonderful way to deepen the connection between the community and the waterside area.
On the day of the event, participants dressed in water-inspired blue clothing.
They toasted with beer, sake, juice, and other beverages in front of the clear stream of the Tedori River while enjoying the magnificent view of nature woven by the river!
The smiling faces of the participants and the murmuring of the river were united in a friendly atmosphere as they shared the blessings of the waterside.
About the “Waterside Toast” Project
The Waterside Toast project started in 2015 as part of the “Waterside Ring Project” promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and others. With the aim of promoting new use of waterfront areas and raising awareness of conservation, the event is held annually at 7:07 p.m. on July 7, with a simultaneous toast held at various locations throughout Japan.
