5月23日から25日にかけて、勝山市の平泉寺白山神社にて33年に一度の「御開帳」が執り行われました。
この歴史的な機会を記念して開催された「かつやま奉祝フェス」に、白山ユネスコエコパーク協議会も白山市からブースを出展し、活動をPRしました。
平泉寺白山神社は、かつて白山平泉寺と呼ばれ、約1300年前に創建された歴史ある神社です。
本社には「白山の女神」と称されるご神体「河上御前」の像が祀られており、江戸時代から33年ごとに御開帳が行われています。
今回のご神体公開は7回目にあたります。
当日は、大勢の参拝客が訪れ、ブース周辺も大変賑わっていました。
Participation in “KATSUYAMA Hoshuku Festival” to Commemorate Gokaicho at Heisenji Hakusan Shrine
From May 23 to 25, the once-every-33-years “Gokaicho” was held at the Heisenji Hakusan Shrine in Katsuyama City.
The Mount Hakusan Biosphere Reserve Council also participated in the “Katsuyama Hoshuku Festival” – held to commemorate this historic occasion – with a booth to promote its activities.
Heisenji Hakusan Shrine, once called Hakusan Heisenji Temple, is a historic shrine founded approximately 1,300 years ago.
At the headquarters, a statue of the deity “Kawakamigozen,” known as the “Goddess of Hakusan,” is enshrined, and since the Edo period, the shrine has been open to the public every 33 years.
This is the seventh time the statue has been opened to the public.
On the day of the event, the area around the booth was very crowded with visitors.
