本協議会の学術部会員である金沢大学国際機構のMammadova Aida(ママードウァ・アイーダ) 准教授が推進する「日本のユネスコ生物圏保存地域（ユネスコエコパーク）およびジオパーク内の遠隔地域活性化を目的とした世代間学習」事業がユネスコ/日本ESD賞を受賞しました！
ユネスコ/日本ESD賞は、世界中のESD（持続可能な教育）実践者にとってより良い取り組みに挑戦する動機付けと、優れた取り組みを世界中に広めることを目的として開始されました。2014年から日本政府の財政支援により、ユネスコが実施している顕彰事業で、ESD活動に取り組む機関・団体が実施する優れたプロジェクトを表彰するものです。

UNESCO-Japan Prize on education for sustainable development 2023
Associate Professor Aida Mammadova from the Organization of Global Affairs of Kanazawa University, and member of the Hakusan BR Council Academic Group, has received the UNESCO-Japan Prize on education for sustainable development for her project “Intergenerational Learning on ESD to revitalize remote communities inside Japanese UNESCO Biosphere Reserves and Geopark.” The UNESCO-Japan Prize on education for sustainable development is an award program initiated by UNESCO and financially supported by the Japanese government since 2014. It recognises outstanding projects by organisations and groups engaging in ESD activities. See the above website for more details.
